She has been a resident of Old Irving Park since 1990. She is interested in the growth and preservation of the neighborhood. She currently resides in her "work in progress" restoration of the Ropp Grabill House, on the National Historic Register. She is a member of the Old Irving Park Association - www.OldIrvingPark.com, the Old Irving Park Garden Club and the Irving Park Historical Society. She has been passionate about real estate since reading "The Good Earth" in grade school. She bought her first house at age 20 and first investment property at 24. She has owned real estate in 3 states. She got a real estate license in Ohio in 1973 to buy real estate while working full time in advertising at Procter and Gamble. She moved to Chicago in 1983 to take a position with Leo Burnett. While working for Burnett, she got a real estate license in 1984 and rehabbed vintage properties on the side. In 1996 she decided to make real estate sales and rehab her full time career. Peggy's education was in Fine Art at the Undiversity of Cincinnati's College of Design, Architecture and Art.
